At The Moment

          Again this week I want to push a diocesan workshop called "Nourished at Table— Sent to Serve."  It will be at St. Joan of Arc Church in Kokomo, this coming Saturday, November 21, 9 AM to 3 PM.  Any parishioner may attend by simply registering thru your respective parish office.  St. Ambrose 644-5956 or St. Mary 644-8467.  The parishes will pick up the tab.  Lunch is included as well as Mass with Bishop Higi.  The day is sponsored by the Office For Worship and RCIA.

          As I promised last week in this column, I want to invite all parish musicians, including choirs and cantors, to a workshop on December 5, at St. Alphonsos Liguori Church in Zionsville, 9 to 3 PM.  Sister Kathleen Harmon, SND, M.M., Ph.D, will present Liturgical Music: An Art in Service to our Communal Prayer. 
          The parishes will pick up the tab and lunch is included.  Call St. Ambrose (644- 5956) or St. Mary’s (644-8467) to register.
          Workshops such as these are important to attend for our ongoing liturgical formation.  I am hoping for a large turnout from both parishes.  Your commitment of time and talent is certainly appreciated. Thank you very much!

          This Tuesday we’ll be having a Chicken n’ Noodle Dinner at the K of C, 4 to 7 PM.  This is an easy way to support the School Scholarship Fund for St. Mary’s School.  I hope to see many folks.  (The next one will be for St. Ambrose School scholarships in January. I hope folks from both parishes turn out for both.)  The needs are great!
